TYRP Marketing & Consulting is a small family business that was founded in July 2017 to address the digital marketing needs of other small businesses.  To be honest, it wasn’t planned in advance and it came together when necessity met ambition!  After 30+ years of working in a variety of backgrounds in the “real” world, we became disillusioned with the seemingly everyday mantra of many of the companies that we worked for – more money, less focused attention on the client.  After having a “Jerry Maguire Mission Statement Moment”, it occurred to us that there were so many people in the business world who needed help and didn’t have anyone to turn to that they could trust.  TYRP was born out of this realization.

So…what if?  What if we could create a meaningful partnership with a client that was rooted in trust and mutual respect?  What if we could talk business over coffee and create success stories over dinner?  What if we could sustain our business with a handful of clients that would have full access to us for whatever they needed and we would stay open to adapting to fit their needs?  What if our only mission statement was to maintain our integrity and to use our various skills to help other small businesses succeed without robbing them blind?  Well, we’ve done it. 

In the past six+ years, we have maintained a full caseload of clients and are really proud to say that we have not had to do any marketing because all of our business comes from recommendations and referrals!  Furthermore, we have found that our skills have adapted and grown as we have tackled the following types of scenarios:

• We have assisted our clients in navigating the difficult uncertainties of the Covid-19 crisis and business interruption through 24/7 responsive action.
• We have built countless websites and improved search engine optimization for a number of regular clients as well as one-time contracts.
• We have developed logos and graphic materials including magazine and online ads, banners and flyers.
• We have taken on the full marketing activities of several clients, managing all of their community outreach efforts including charitable giving.
• We have consulted for several restaurants on re-branding, food/labor cost analysis, menu re-design, staffing, human resources and marketing plans.
• We have developed long and short term campaigns for retail sales, service based companies and international businesses.
• We spearheaded a national sponsorship campaign with a client on ESPN® and Monday Night Football®.
• We have facilitated cross promotional relationships between clients with complimentary missions.
• We have created elevator pitches for investments for start up companies and written professional manifests.
• We have helped clients to conceptualize and develop new business endeavors.
• We have developed or “refreshed” LinkedIn accounts for professionals and corporate clients.
• We helped a client to completely re-brand and re-open her business with a new website, event planning, marketing and outreach, media buys, bartering services and social media development.
• We have worked with two clients to conduct online research for the purpose of supporting legal actions.
• We have worked with a police department to investigate evidence that was linked to social media accounts and to train them in how the social media domains operate.
• Oh…and we post on social media and create advertisements!
