Just the Facts

The Numbers Don’t Lie…

You can love social media or you can hate it, but you certainly cannot deny it’s power.

Even if your generation is not using social media as a means of understanding the world around them, there is no denying that your future customer is learning about the brands they want to support through online research.  Nearly 78% of adults aged 41-55, half of all 56-76 year old adults and a staggering 9 out of 10 adults aged 24-39 are utilizing social media every day.

We  know how to reach these audiences, capture their attention and draw them to your product or service. We use algorithms to determine the best time of day to share your content so that it gets the most organic (unpaid) reach to the most viewers.  We take care of your social media and interact with your followers so that you don’t have to…

So, why should you care that people are on social media?

The answer to this is astoundingly simple.  Everything that your customers know about your business before they make the decision to purchase from you, they’ve learned online.  Whether this is by reviewing your social media platforms, reading peer reviews on Google, Yelp and more, viewing images of your products or service outcomes, or reached out to your directly, the truth is, they’ve already made a decision (and a judgement) about you.

You already know that there is a lot of competition out there.  So, you can’t afford a stagnant profile, an out-of-date Google business listing, out-of-touch photos or bad reviews. Our job is to engage with your current and potential customers, answer their questions in real time, keep them up to date and keep you front-of-mind.

There are now more than 50 million small businesses using Facebook Pages to connect with their customers (Source: Facebook). If you don’t have social media, and your customers can’t find you, they have plenty of other options from which to choose.

A functional, up-to-date WEBSITE is as important as a social media presence, and together, they are an integral marketing tool for advancing your business.

But I Already Have a Website…

Is it vibrant and engaging?

It takes about 50 milliseconds (that’s 0.05 seconds) for users to form an opinion about your website that determines whether they like your site or not, whether they’ll stay or leave. 75% of consumers admit to making judgments on a company’s credibility based on the company’s website design.

Does it look good on tablets and mobile phones?

57% of internet users say they won’t recommend a business with a poorly designed website on mobile.

Does it ask your customers to DO anything?

70% of small business websites lack a Call to Action (CTA) on their homepage. If you don’t ask a potential customer to “Call”, “Message” or “Book Now”, then you are leaving the decision making up to them.

Is it updated regularly?

88% of online consumers are less likely to return to a site after a bad experience. This includes getting the wrong information, a website that is “down” due to technical glitches, error messages and more.  You don’t have a second chance to make that first impression.

Does it load quickly?

39% of people will stop engaging with a website if images won’t load or take too long to load. 47% of Users expect a maximum of 2 seconds loading time for an average website.

Does it provide all of the information that your customers are looking for?

85% of B2B customers search the web before making a purchasing decision. This includes diners looking at a menu/reviews before choosing a restaurant and consumers looking for the specifications of a product before they purchase.

Does it have adequate SEO (search engine optimization) so that you show up in search engine inquiries?

70% of mobile searches result in an online action within an hour of the search being conducted. More than 80,000 Google searches are submitted every second. Ranking highly on Google is no easy task, especially if your only weapon is on social media accounts. With a website in the mix, you are giving yourself a fighting chance.

Yes…it’s most of those things.

Then, let’s talk money.

If you have a website, then you have a hosting company or a maintenance contract.  Let’s take a look at some of the popular ones:

Self-Updated:

Wix – Free (without a domain and with ads) to $49 a month.

GoDaddy – $10-$25 a month

Squarespace – $12 -$20 a month

 Shopify – $29 – $299 a month

Maintenance Contracts:

Network Solutions, Hibu, etc. – $50 – $500+ a month

The websites that we build are WordPress websites, with customizable themes, front-end user friendly editing capacity and robust plug-in capabilities.  There are two costs involved with the sites that we build:

1.  Hosting/Domain:  The host that we use costs $150 for three years.  Your original domain is included in that cost for one year and renews each year after that for approximately $20 a year (depending on the domain).  It also includes your SSL (secure) certificate so that you can process financial transactions securely on your site, domain-specific email addresses, daily backups, 24/7/365 support, e-commerce capability and more.

2.  Website Design/Build:  This fee is determined by us based on the complexity and needs of your site and business.  All of our sites are built with SEO keywords and practices to ensure that your site is ranked on Google.  We offer VERY competitive pricing and payment plans, and when your site is complete, we train YOU on how to keep it updated.  No Maintenance Contracts!

However — if you prefer, we do include website maintenance for the sites that we build into our monthly digital marketing contracts.  If you choose to utilize our social media and online marketing services, we will keep your site updated as well!

Your choice:

ANNUALLY (just hosting/maintenance cost):

GoDaddy (with no email, no SSL, no backups, no SEO) – $100-$300 per year

Wix (with no domain, no SSL, no backups, no SEO, no email) – Free (with outside ads and banners) – $588 per year

Squarespace (with limited services based on each level) – $144-$240 per year

Shopify (with limited services based on each level) – $348-$3,588 per year

Maintenance Contracts – $600-$6,000 per year.

TYRP – (domain, email, SSL, backups, support) – $70 per year and you have full control of your site.
